We are delighted to have visitors in all our services, and we want you to feel as an honored guest when you come. Here are a few common questions and answers about visiting Bible Way Baptist Church that will help you enjoy your first visit:
Will the roof fall in when I come?
It has not happened yet! In fact, several visitors have said this was going to happen when they came, but we are happy to report that the roof is still standing strong!
What should I wear?
This is probably the most common question. We want you to feel welcome. When asked, our Pastor always says, “Just wear the best you have”. Specific attire is not required, but it does makes sense to wear nice, clean, modest clothing to church. As long as you do that you will not feel out of place.
Do you have a nursery?
Yes! A nursery is provided during all services for children ages 3 and under.
What are your services like?
Our services are commonly referred to as “traditional”, “old fashioned”, and “evangelistic”. Our music primarily is familiar traditional soul stirring hymns of the faith that will encourage you and your family as well as challenge you to live for the Lord. We have special scheduled music from members of the congregation each service. The focus of all of our meetings is the Word of God. Generally, we will have several hymns, prayer, an offering, and then a message from the Bible.
Do visitors have to stand up and say anything?
Absolutely not! We will give you a visitor’s card and ask you to drop it in the offering plate so we can have a record of your visit. The Pastor will welcome all visitors and thank you for attending. Our goal is to make sure you and your family to feel right at home. We want you to come back!
